Pre-School Room

Pre-school children enjoy separate sessions in the pre-school room. They’ll move towards developing their understanding in areas of reading, writing and maths in line with the requirements of the EYFS in a slightly more formal environment. They deepen their knowledge of language and the world around them. Before children leave to go to school they are given the necessary skills to enable the transition to be smooth and easy.

They leave us with a strong sense of self and a belief that they can master any new skills. This age group also have the opportunity to ride the nursery pony, Bobby. This enables them to further develop balance, hand and eye coordination and decision making skills.
